Manufacturing Clients
BUNGE MILLING,  IL- When the largest dry corn miller in the world found itself faced with increasing job related injuries, it turned to SWA for help.  We custom designed a program to train all supervisory personnel on managing safety in the workplace, and how to comply with federal regulations without sacrificing product or productivity.  This program was so well received that it is now being evaluated for implementation at all Bunge facilities across the United States.
International Truck and Engine, IL.- One of the nations largest truck and engine manufacturers, they turned to SWA in 2001 after receiving an OSHA citation. SWA corrected their deficiencies, trained nearly 2000 workers, and conducted drills for multiple shifts to affect remediation. Because of our performance, we have been called in for a number of other safety projects as well, and continue to provide them with guidance and direction in their safety management program.
MIDWEST UNDERGROUND TECHNOLOGIES, INC. IL- Engaged in the high risk business of tower erection, MUTI came to SWA in need of someone to provide OSHA training for their construction crews.  With less than a week to get the class completed in order to retain a contract, SWA provided the training around their schedule, and helped them retain a lucrative contract.  Since then, SWA has become their “one-stop-shop” for all their safety needs.
NICHOLSON TERMINAL AND DOCK COMP.,  MI- When this international cargo handler and stevedoring operation needed assistance in their safety management program, they turned to SWA for a complete program assessment, safety training, recordkeeping development, and other services in order to minimize losses and maximize worker safety and efficiency.
THYSSENKRUPP GERLACH, INC., IL- Replacing an old, manual forging line with a new and efficient computerized line meant the loss of nearly 75 jobs to this manufacturing facility. Concerned about the possibility of unrest and violence, they turned to SWA for industrial security assistance, including comprehensive assessments and security training for management and labor forces. Pleased with our services, they have now turned to us to provide the same in three other manufacturing facilities as well.
